Families of Detainees Mocked by Suppressor Forces in Front of Evin Prison

On Saturday August 29, 2009, more than 60 family members of the detainees of the recent uprising gathered in front of Evin prison demanding for their loved ones to be freed and cared for.

The suppressor forces mocked the anxious family members and told them, "We are already tired of you showing up every day, so how can you not be tired of it?! They will release them whenever they please, and there is nothing you can do about it."

These forces also tried to upset the families by saying, "You coming and going will not solve anything. It is best that you go home and wait by the phone. If there will be a release, they will call you."
