Amir-Hossein Tavakolli, Graduate student from Azad University-Qazvin was arrested

Committee of Human Rights Reporters- based on the reports we received, Amir-Hossein Tavakolli, a graduate student from Azad University-Qazvin was arrested on 8th of November by four officials of the intelligence ministry and transferred to Evin prison. It is to be noted that after a week of detention in solitary cell, this student activist was transferred to section 350 of Evin prison.

After the post-election events and killing of two students from the Qazvin Branch of Azad University, Ashkan Sohrabi and Amir Javaifar, there were a lot of gatherings and protests in this university which were met with security forces reacting and arresting students.

On 4th of November and also 7th of December there were gatherings with a lot of students in this university.
