Summary reports on demonstrations in support of political prisoners in Iran

On 7th August 2010 in 13 cities all around the world:
Campaign to Free Political Prisoners in Iran (CFPPI) called an international day of action in support the political prisoners in Iran
on 7th August 2010. The main objective of the campaign was to depict current situation of these political prisoners held by the
Islamic Regime in Iran for months and even years, to warn about the wave of recent execution sentences passed by the
courts, and to gather an international support to pressure the regime in Iran to free these prisoners immediately and unconditionally.
Photo exhibitions, petitions, and messages from this prisoner sent from prison, and the situation of Sakineh Ashtiani, were
among the activities on 7th August.
